The story

I spent 15 years inside
a platform like yours.

I joined TomTom as a software engineer writing SDK code for Android and iOS. Over 15 years I moved through every layer of the stack — engineering, product ownership, developer advocacy, and finally principal-level technical advisory for strategic OEM accounts across Europe and Asia.

I've been in the rooms where enterprise deals get made or lost. I know what a CTO at an automotive OEM actually needs to hear in a technical review. I know why pilots stall at procurement. I know what "we need to see a PoC" really means.

In 2026, I founded JozEV Labs to bring that same discipline to startups — and to build my own: JozEV is an electric motorcycle brand I'm developing in Amsterdam, with a proprietary hubless drivetrain and a 2026 prototype target. I'm not just advising on hardware-meets-enterprise. I'm living it.

WingDash — a GPS cockpit dashboard I built from scratch for my eMoped. No cloud. No phone mount. A custom vector map engine running on a $10 ESP32 microcontroller with 293KB of heap, reading OpenStreetMap data I converted with a Python pipeline I wrote myself. Every layer — firmware, data engineering, hardware, UX — designed and built solo.

This isn't a side project footnote. It's what happens when you apply the same constraint-first thinking to hardware that I apply to enterprise architecture. I understand what's happening inside the device, not just in the pitch deck.
